Winter is officially here and that means cold weather and lots of snow. We usually get a lot of snow in Pennsylvania, so it’s important that I have boots that will keep my feet warm and dry. But having boots that do that doesn’t mean that you have to sacrifice style. This season, take charge of your cold-weather footwear and don’t let any blizzards boss you into wearing bulky, boring, and salt-stained boots. You probably have a sturdy pair of snow boots that have been with you through every storm for the past 5 years, but it’s time to upgrade your winter wardrobe and get yourself a cute pair of fashion boots
It’s possible to find a snow boot that’s not only chic enough for the slopes, but warm, waterproof, and versatile enough to be worn year-round in the office or on the weekends. These are your “I love winter but only when it’s sunny and there are no wind boots.” A bit more fashion than function, these boots all have their pros, but they’re not going to help you shovel out your driveway or trek through 2 feet of snow. Sometimes you just want a good looking, stylish boot for those winter days when there isn’t a pile of slush or snow on the ground.
To avoid spending hours browsing shoes online, I pulled together the boot selection below for those of you still searching for the perfect pair. Happy shopping, my friends!
How to style snow boots?
If you’re a winter mountain person you’re probably not too worried about this sort of stuff but I always struggle on how to style my winter boots in a cute outfit. So here are my tips on how you can stay warm by wearing your winter boots but also look stylish:
- Mix patterns like plaids and checks
- Wear different textures
- Match your knit had and gloves/mittens
- Puffer jackets look great, but also nude teddy coats
- The bigger the scarf the better
- Invest in a great cozy knit sweater
- White jeans can actually make a great winter outfit
These are lovely winter boots to wear Lindsey! x

Thank you for this! My snow boots are hideous! I need something functional and cute at the same time. Mine are definitely functional but not cute. Next time I buy boots, I will remember these ideas.
