My Northern California Dream Getaway Vacation

Northern California is the home of tremendous beauty. It processes the rare combination of a city’s landscape surrounded by breath-taking nature. If you love travelling, you should at least plan to make a getaway from regular working days. While you are in your getaway, here are five stops you will not want to miss.

San Francisco

There is so much to do in San Francisco. Chances are, even residents have not done it all. From the Golden Gate Bridge to vintage streetcars and historical sites, you will probably need more than two days to get enough of this city. To even make the place more exciting, the ever expanding San Francisco skyline is a recent reason why many tourists tour the area.

Big Sur

The central coast of California has a spectacular extension, the Big Sur. You will find it between San Simeon and Carmel. The area is very scenic and has an excellent view of the Pacific! In three words, one can describe it as wild and mystic. Many artists and writers have attributed to Big Sur as a place that carries a lot of inspiration.

Yosemite

Serene national parks are kind of difficult to find America, and Yosemite National Park is among the adored few. This park offers outdoor experiences that are quite rare. From the uniquely sloping mountains to amazing cliffs, the scenery is beautiful to behold. Vehicles are not allowed in the valley to reduce traffic, but the 800 miles of the trail offers impressive hiking and fitness-goals adventures. To add the cream on the cake, Yosemite, Bridalveil, and Wapama Falls will take your breath away.

Sonoma

If you are the kind of person who prefers fewer stops that offer intimate experiences, the Sonoma is a place you should visit! The area has over 400 wineries open for tasting even to the public. Many people who come by Sonoma interact with quality wine that, in most cases, is not accessible anywhere else. But this is not all that makes Sonoma an experience to yearn for. The beaches, golden sand, and rugged cliffs will give you a nature experience that will be hard to forget.

Redwood State Park

Redwood is a national and state park south of Crescent City. This park is home for tall redwood trees that cover the sky, leaving room for the sun to penetrate just right in specific spaces. You will feel the overwhelming outpour of nature’s massive energy in a whole different way! Close by is the Enderts beach, which is famous for its colorful creatures and tide pools.

All the above destinations will offer you both a city and country experience, and if you love wine, you will love it more in Northern California. Don’t forget to pack your hand sanitizer, mask, and camera.
